What are your hours of operation?
We are open 10 until 5 every day except for Tuesday at Quiet Waters or Monday at Chesapeake Beach. Our last rental is at 5 and all boats must be back by 6pm.
Can I make a reservation?
If you are going to pedal or paddle at 10am, when we open, or if you are going for the full day you can reserve the boat by calling us and securing the reservation with a Mastercard or Visa.
Do you provide group discounts?
For 5 or more boats reserved 48 hrs in advance or more we will provide a 10% discount.
Can someone without any experience use your boats?
Yes! Our boats are very stable and we can give you a brief lesson on how to paddle.
Are lifejackets and paddles included?
Yes, we have lifejackets for infants to adult.
What age do you need to be to go on the water?
Any age is allowed on the water, an adult must present for children under the age of 16. We recommend one adult for evry 3 children. To take a boat out by yourself you must be able to wield the paddle or reach the pedals. We have youth size boats as well.
Where can we go?
We are located on Harness Creek in Annapolis and Fishing Creek in Chesapeake Beach. It is at your own risk if you choose to leave the creek area.
What if I go over my hour?
If you stay out longer then what you paid for that is fine but it will go to the next hour so we encourage you to maximize your time.
What is the difference between a sit on top and sit inside kayak?
In a sit on top kayak you will get wet from the waist down because the boats are designed to ride the ocean surf with openings in the bottom that allow water to flow through.
In a sit inside you will stay relatively dry.
Can I bring my dog?
At the Quiet Waters Park location you may bring your dog.
How many people can fit on a paddle boat?
There is a 800lb. maximum. There are two front pedaling seats and a back bench that can hold up to 3.
Will someone help me into my boat?
Yes! Our staff will be happy to help you both in and out of your boat.
